WHAT IS MINIENTERPRIZE?
LETTER FROM THE CHAIR
Welcome Prospective Attendees and Distinguished Guests,
It is my honour to present the fourteenth iteration of our annual conference! My name is Andrea Lui and I am absolutely thrilled to be serving as Chair of miniEnterprize 2022. On behalf of the Executive Team and Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to be hosting an in-person event at the UBC Sauder School of Business after such unprecedented times.
COVID-19 has thrown countless obstacles into our daily lives, but it hasn't stopped our ongoing desire to learn and thrive. As the most established high school business conference in the Lower Mainland, miniEnterprize strives for excellence in its case competition and other resources made available to youth. Each subsequent iteration tends to set a higher standard; from the invigorating case study to our upcoming Opportunity Fair, we are proud to be an esteemed platform for those wanting to break into the business world.
We pride ourselves in providing an unparalleled experience that not only focuses on skill-building but also networking. Business case competitions like miniEnterprize are some of the most popular and accessible opportunities today for teenagers to foster new and invaluable skills. From public speaking to critical thinking to even PowerPoint basics, we have successfully aided in the professional and personal development of thousands of students over the years. With the exclusive insights from our diverse keynote and workshop speakers, constructive advice from judging panels, and a welcoming environment full of like-minded individuals, our attendees never fail to take away meaningful moments, even from just a one-day conference.
I remember attending my first business case competition like it was yesterday. As a timid grade nine navigating risks and mitigations and a nerve-wracking Q & A, I know my risk-taking abilities wouldn't be the same now if I didn't try paving a path for myself early on. Taking on miniEnterprize 2020 as an attendee was an exhilarating experience, and I cannot wait for my team to deliver miniEnterprize 2022, a day that truly gives back to the community that has served me so well for the past four years.
Don't forget to register now before it's too late!

"The winning team will receive a $1000 grand prize to fund their future business ventures."
Since our inception in 2008, miniEnterprize has grown to become the largest and most established high school business conference in Western Canada, hosting 200+ delegates, judges, keynote speakers, and distinguished guests every year. We take pride in providing an unparalleled experience for our teenage attendees to strengthen their abilities in case studies, financial literacy, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship– but most importantly, connecting with the world around them and thinking outside the box.
Our one-day conference is designed to help students succeed in the business world by providing them with an opportunity to meet and interact with like-minded individuals. Attendees participate in hands-on workshops, listening to industry leaders before competing in a case competition judged by seasoned professionals, all based on problems they could encounter in the real world.
We've had thirteen conferences since 2008.
