TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MiniEnterprize's terms and conditions for events are set out in full below. Terms and conditions of local group and society events may differ to those mentioned here. Please refer to your booking conditions for details. By attending miniEnterprize and its events, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
ATTENDING THE EVENT
It may be necessary for reasons beyond miniEnterprize's control to change the content and timing of the programme, the speakers, the date or the venue at any time prior to the event date.
In most circumstances, event materials will be issued and used on the day of the event. The documentation is made available only to the attendees of miniEnterprize organized events. Event materials and delegate handbooks are provided for the sole use of the attendees and may not be reproduced whether in whole or part, shared, or distributed by any method whatsoever without permission of the copyright owner.
As an initiative to preserve the environment, miniEnterprize will not provide any physical copies of the delegate handbook/how to case comp guide. MiniEnterprize recommends all attendees to download a digital copy of the delegate handbook/how to case comp guide from our website.
Illicit Substances and Activities
MiniEnterprize holds zero tolerance on illicit substances and activities, including but not limited to alcohol consumption, tobacco consumption, illegal substance consumption (including all types of vape products and marijuana), and all activities that cause inconveniences for other attendees. MiniEnterprize reserves the right to remove delegates from the conference premises if they are caught violating any of the policies mentioned above.
Case and Academic Integrity
MiniEnterprize highly values academic integrity; therefore, delegates will be disqualified from participating in the competition if they are caught sharing the case before their designated times or committing any act of academic dishonesty.
External speakers are responsible for the content of their respective sessions. It is the policy of miniEnterprize to give the fullest freedom to contributors/speakers to express their opinions. The opinions expressed by the speakers do not necessarily represent the views of miniEnterprize and miniEnterprize affiliated personnels. MiniEnterprize will make every effort to ensure the validity and accuracy of the information provided by external speakers.
MiniEnterprize accepts no liability if an attendee is unable to attend an event due to adverse weather conditions or any travel disruption. MiniEnterprize does not offer free parking spaces at the UBC Sauder School of Business and reserves the right to use venues which may incur a car parking charge.
Filming and Sound Recording
MiniEnterprize reserves the right to film, record, or photograph any of the speakers and attendees at an event for post event purposes.
AFTER THE EVENT
Following the event, attendees should expect to receive an email asking them to complete a feedback form online about your experiences at the event. Please reflect on your experiences when answering the questions and provide a few suggestions on how to make miniEnterprize more successful.
